APGAR Newborn Score

The standard 1- and 5-minute assessment of a newborn's condition at birth.

Designed for healthcare professionals or trained caregivers — not for self-diagnosis. If you have symptoms, seek medical care.
Awaiting clinical review. Results are based on validated formulas but pending physician verification.

How this is calculated

Each of the five signs (Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, Respiration) scores 0–2, summed to 0–10 at 1 and 5 minutes. The 5-minute score best predicts outcomes.
