Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS)

A validated 10-question screen for depression during pregnancy and after birth.

Awaiting clinical review. Results are based on validated formulas but pending physician verification.

How this is calculated

Ten items (0–3) sum to 0–30, reflecting the past 7 days. A score of 13 or more suggests probable depression; question 10 screens for self-harm.
